CARDIOVASCULAR COE

Heart & Vascular Care

Foshan’s cardiovascular centre connects electrophysiology, hypertension intervention, structural and valve care, imaging, anaesthesia and intensive care. PFA, RDN, TAVR and MitraClip are technology pathways discussed only after diagnosis and indication review.

One entry point for three very different questions: heart rhythm, difficult-to-control hypertension and structural heart disease.

START HERE

Cases that usually enter through this COE

Atrial fibrillation or another arrhythmia requiring review

Blood pressure remaining high despite optimised treatment

Valve stenosis, regurgitation or structural heart disease

A second opinion on catheter intervention or surgery

RELEVANT ADVANTAGES

What makes this pathway stronger

PFA for rhythm questions

Pulsed-field ablation is a non-thermal approach for selected atrial fibrillation; ECG, Holter, echo and prior treatment still shape evaluation.

RDN for resistant hypertension

RDN is discussed only after blood-pressure measurements, medication, adherence and secondary causes are reviewed by a doctor.

Structural heart care

TAVR and MitraClip may be topics for selected valve disease; echo or CT, surgical risk and anatomy determine the choice.

One team, not three vendors

Technology questions sit under a cardiovascular-centre clinical review and hospital confirmation.

DOCTORS & TEAMS

Teams you can ask to review the case

The reviewing doctor, schedule and hospital are formally confirmed after initial records are reviewed.

A CASE LENS

Case lens: three paths, three record sets

An arrhythmia patient brings ECG or Holter and medication history; a hypertension patient brings pressure logs, medication and secondary-cause work-up; a valve patient brings echocardiography and CT when available. The COE routes the case to the correct clinical question before discussing a device.

A record-triage example, not an indication decision.

PREPARATION

Records that make the review more useful

  • Available ECG, Holter, echo, cardiac CT or angiography
  • Complete medication list and response or side effects
  • Home or ambulatory blood-pressure records
  • Previous admission, ablation, stent or surgery history
  • Kidney function, contrast allergy and comorbidities

Foshan Fosun Chancheng Hospital · Foshan, Guangdong

A Fosun Health member hospital in the Greater Bay Area for complex-condition and family pathways.

One place to explore oncology, cardiovascular, orthopedics/spine, urology, and women’s and children’s health—with the plan confirmed by the hospital.

  • Medical oncology and case navigation
  • Precision radiation oncology
  • Surgical oncology
  • Heart and vascular care
  • Orthopedics, spine, and urology

A strong option when a family needs to map several specialist needs in one clear conversation, then request official confirmation of doctors, technology, and next steps.
