Understand the topic

CyberKnife is an image-guided robotic stereotactic radiotherapy system. The name does not mean surgery with a knife; the clinical team determines the radiation plan and suitability.

Three things to discuss

  1. Bring available recent imaging and radiology reports.

  2. If you had radiotherapy, ask which dose and treatment-area records to bring.

  3. Ask about alternatives, nearby tissue risks, visit numbers, and a written estimate.
